Hydrogen gas is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and is therefore useful in the treatment of cancer.

Brain metastases disappear completely in non-small cell lung cancer by hydrogen gas inhalation, case report

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6927257/

Follow-up report of 82 patients with advanced cancer (Ref .)

Prospective follow-up study of 82 patients with stage III and IV cancer treated with hydrogen inhalation with the following results:

  • After 4 weeks of hydrogen inhalation, patients reported significant improvements in fatigue, insomnia, anorexia, and pain.
  • In addition, 41.5% of patients had improved physical fitness, with the best effect achieved in patients with lung cancer and the worst in patients with pancreatic cancer and gynecology.
  • The greatest decrease in markers occurred in lung cancer, and the lowest, in pancreatic and hepatic malignancies.
  • Of the 80 cases with visible tumors on imaging, the overall disease control rate was 57.5%, with complete and partial remission appearing between 21 and 80 days (median 55 days) after hydrogen inhalation.
  • The rate of disease control was significantly higher in stage III patients than in stage IV patients (83.0% and 47.7%, respectively), with the lowest rate of disease control in patients with pancreatic cancer."

CONCLUSION: "In patients with advanced cancer, inhaled hydrogen can improve patients' quality of life and control cancer progression."

Hydrogen therapy can be used to control tumor progression and alleviate adverse drug events in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer ( Ref .)

Side effects

Virtually nonexistent even if continuous doses are given for 6 to 12 hours daily. No adverse events were observed in the 55 patients who inhaled hydrogen gas during three months of the following study:

How to administer hydrogen

Hydrogen can be administered in many ways, but the most effective of them all is in its gaseous form, through the nostrils, in the same way that oxygen is administered with the typical and well-known nasal goggles.

As indicated by studies published in Japan and China with more than 120 patients and with medium to highly positive results, it has to be administered for a minimum of 3 to 6 hours, preferably more if possible. It can be administered during sleep, whereby periods of 6 to 8 hours daily can be achieved, plus the hours that can then be administered during the day.

The best device that exists, which is one that provides a flow of 3 liters per minute, can be purchased in China and has a price of 8000 €; this treatment is basically for individual use at home, naturally always under medical supervision.
